- Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect the rights and safety of ImmiBook and our users.
We certify that:
- We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties

4. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using industry-standard encryption. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. USCIS Case Data
When you add case receipt numbers, we check USCIS case status on your behalf. We store the case status information to show you history and send notifications. We are not affiliated with USCIS or the U.S. government.
6. Browser Extension
The ImmiBook USCIS Sync browser extension enhances our service by syncing detailed case data from your my.uscis.gov account.
Data Collected
When using the extension while logged into my.uscis.gov, we collect:
- Case information (receipt numbers, types, form names, dates, statuses)
- Applicant name associated with your cases
- Case timeline and historical status updates
- Document metadata (approval notices, receipt notices)
- Your ImmiBook session token (stored locally only)
Extension Permissions
- Storage: Save auth token and cache case data locally
- Tabs: Detect when you're on my.uscis.gov
- ActiveTab: Access case data when you initiate sync
- Downloads: Download USCIS documents when requested
- Cookies: Read my.uscis.gov session for authenticated requests
- Scripting: Capture USCIS API responses for syncing
- Host Access: Read USCIS case data from my.uscis.gov
Data Transmission & Storage
Case data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to ImmiBook servers. We do not transmit your USCIS login credentials—only case data visible in your account. The extension stores your ImmiBook auth token in Chrome's local storage, cleared when you log out or uninstall.
Data Deletion

- Delete ImmiBook account — removes all synced data from servers

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
