Just Became US Citizen! - 20 Year Immigration Journey Complete

Today I officially became a United States citizen! My 20-year immigration journey is finally complete. I'm emotional and wanted to share.

My journey:

2005: Arrived in US on tourist visa from Mexico

2007: Married US citizen

2008: Filed I-130 + I-485

2009: Green card approved!

2014: Eligible for citizenship (5 years)

2015: Filed N-400... then life happened

2024: Finally refiled N-400

This made me tear up. Congratulations! I'm at 18 years and will file N-400 next year. The journey is long but so worth it.
