Replied to: L1A to EB1C - Timeline and Requirements
I'm going through EB1C right now! Here's what I know: 1. Managerial requirements: Must manage professionals OR manage a function/department. Managing only first-line supervisors isn't enough. 2. One year abroad within last 3 years is required. 3. Can change companies AFTER green card approval, not during process. 4. Timeline: I-140 takes 4-6 months regular, 15 days premium. Then I-485 processing. 5. For India-born: Still subject to per-country limits, so not that much faster than EB2. The advantage of EB1C is no PERM required, which saves 1-2 years!
